An incredible opportunity for an experienced 2nd Engineer to join an Amels build, world cruising yacht with an amazing team, great captains and owner. You must hold an EOOW Unlimited ticket with solid yachting experience, however, a 2nd Engineer Unlimited or Y3 ticket is preferred.
- This yacht travels to remote, challenging areas so you must be confident in your position and able to think outside of the box.
- Owner has high standards in terms of you being a great character and joining in as part of the team. A lot of the crew are really into watersports, as is the owner, so if this is something you enjoy that is a benefit.
- They run an extensive water sports program, so it is essential that you have experience with tender / jet ski / small boat engines and be able to work out electrical issues.
- An interest in surfing, kitesurfing, fishing etc is a huge advantage – they like the crew to get involved.
- Minimum EOOW Unlimited ticket, 2nd engineer Unlimited or Y3 is a preference.
- Rotation is 2:2.
- Salary €5,500 (plenty of tips due to heavy charter use).
