Bosun - 80m - dual season - Private/charter

  • 80m Dual season Private/Charter yacht are looking for a Bosun to join them Mid to end of May

 

  • Incredible program with longstanding deck team and senior officers, excellent career development opportunities and a well run high standard yacht!

 

  • They are looking for an experience bosun with strong leadership and training qualities along with an extensive knowledge of maintenance including paint and varnish projects

 

  • Must hold B1/B2 Visa as will be spending the Summer cruising East Coast USA!

 

  • Must hold Master 200gt or equivalent and have large tender driving skills

 

  • They need someone who can confidently lead the team, pass on knowledge and support the lead deckhand with deck operations and building on maintenance experience and skillset

 

  • The position is currently 3:1 but the owner and management have approved time for time rotation. This is not a carrot dangle and will be implemented once they are confident, they have a rotational partner ready to step up within the deck team – this will be anything from 6-12 months but will be performance based and down to you!

 

  • They are looking for an experienced Bosun with a minimum of 1+ years experience on similar size yachts

 

  • Additional skills such as carpentry or diving qualifications will be advantageous

 

  • On offer is a salary of 6000 USD, 3:1 rotation – full package TBD during initial calls
