  • 60m Dual Season Private/Charter yacht are looking for a Chief Officer to join them no later than 11th April 2023

 

  • This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chief Officer to gain exposure to every element of the Captain role and somewhere you will gain extensive drive time working alongside a fantastic and supportive Captain – this could be an incredible fast track for the right candidate working their way to a Captains position in the future

 

  • They are ideally looking for someone who is dedicated, wants to learn, is hands on and will run the deck team whilst leading from the front

 

  • The yacht operates a busy season during the Summer with extensive charters and Med cruising and a quieter Winter season spent in the USA and surrounding areas with the Owner. They also have a home berth

 

  • Chief Mate 3000 as a minimum is required, but Master 3000 would be preferred and advantageous. There will be times when the Captain is on leave and you will be responsible for running the vessel

 

  • B1/B2 Visa is required

 

  • The yacht runs with a sporty crew who are all actively into watersports – this is a big part of their charter program as well – someone fitness orientated and sporty would fit in well with the team.

 

  • Ideally you will have had time in a Chief Officer role on similar size yachts and be happy to be very hands on with both the deck and bridge operations

 

  • On offer is a fantastic package with a salary range of between 9K+ USD along with 90 days leave, single cabin when off trips and even split of tips from the Charters. There is also potential for unpaid leave.
