Job Title: External Refit Manager – New Build 100m+ Superyacht

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced External Refit Manager to join our dynamic team working on the construction of a state-of-the-art 100m+ superyacht. This is a rare chance to be part of a world-class project, delivering luxury and excellence to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate the external refit operations, ensuring all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.

Manage the installation and finishing of external elements including teak decking, chrome fittings, yacht furniture, and exterior fixtures.

Liaise with designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of components and materials.

Monitor progress and quality control throughout the project lifecycle, conducting inspections and resolving any issues promptly.

Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience in external refit management within the superyacht industry or high-end marine construction projects.

Extensive knowledge of teak decking, chrome finishes, and luxury yacht furniture and fittings.

Demonstrable expertise in coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple trades.

Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.

Hands-on approach with exceptional problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with classification society regulations and industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications:

Formal qualification in marine engineering and/or or project management.

Previous experience working on yachts over 100m in length.
