This role offers the variety, complexity, and challenge of managing a large, multi-faceted technical operation—similar to a yacht’s engineering department—while enjoying a stable land-based lifestyle.

The Role

As Estate Technical Manager, you will oversee all property, plant, and machinery across the estate, ensuring seamless operation of:
✔ Mechanical & Electrical Systems – Including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, water, and power systems.
✔ Safety & Compliance – Managing fire protection, security, and estate-wide safety procedures.
✔ A/V & Smart Home Technology – Ensuring state-of-the-art systems function flawlessly.
✔ Vehicles & Equipment – Overseeing maintenance of the family’s cars and estate machinery.
✔ Property Maintenance & Upkeep – Managing day-to-day repairs and high-end refurbishments.
✔ Energy Efficiency & Cost Control – Optimising estate energy use and negotiating with suppliers.

You will work closely with the Principals and Estate Director, delivering a discreet, first-class technical service while leading a small in-house team (Assistant Engineer & AV Specialist) and external contractors.
